Research

A strong research activity is critical to make high-tech companies successful. At ARS, scientific research, wisdonly coupled to market needs, is in the chromosomes of the founders and characteristic of its status of University spin-off.

ARS currently works at the following projects:

• Set-up of on-line techniques for the determination of VOC in industrial emissions, urban and industrial water effluent in collaboration with Hera S.p.A. and the ceramic industry;
• Evaluation of the quality of polyethylene tubes based on molecular models to predict stress resistance;
• Set-up of a monitoring network of drinking water quality on a regional scale.

ARS funds a PhD student position at the University of Bologna, Dept. of Chemistry "G. Ciamician".
